Because the moderation system here is pretty horrible. No accountability or oversight as far as I can tell, it's often impossible to find out what you did wrong or contact the person responsible. Trust me, I've run larger sites than this and I know what works and what doesn't. Moderators are still people and, when their only job is to impress their handlers and justify their job, they can be pretty awful people. You need to watch them closely, make their actions public and accountable, and whip them with the admin-stick if they mod too much. Nothing like that is done here, and the rumours I've seen on other websites (not all of which you can believe since they usually come from butthurt banned people, but some recurring themes strike true) do not paint a picture of the frontier forums as being a place you can expect fair and impartial treatment, or any hope of contesting wrongful decisions.
I welcome the staff to offer counterpoints and change my opinion of them, since all I have is their history of inexplicable actions and lack of communication to go on, but I'd equally understand if they just don't give a crap and ban me for pointing any of this out, then delete it so nobody important sees it.
