We need to start with finding a working definition of 'bad' as a metric
Haven't seen it yet but Any one seen the new Snow White and the seven dwarfs? Why is it bad? Would it bee possible make a gam eout of it?
Disney make most of it money from selling merch and the films just seem to be glorifies adverts!
Sometimes an unknown idie film or game is alot better or always since there are less people involved and has to rely on it on merits not marketing.
