Why will there be "special" wing missions?

dunno if anyone has pointed that out -

anything you do in this game, happens mostly ony YOUR computer and is just remotely synced with a Server.
if you take a mission, the server provides you the data and from that point, it happens locally

of course, in such a system, doing a mission in a wing requires lots of code.
it also explains why they restrict it to one mission per player "because it needs more serverpower"

Just found the Q&A post from 16/01, where basically Adams answer (posted above) was stated:

Is there a reason why all missions cannot be completed in wings? I feel like this should be player choice, for example, multiple small ships can take a mission that might normally need a single big ship.
It’s a tremendous amount of work, requiring a lot of new functionality (such as the mission depot, partial complete, etc.) and a reworking of almost every mission template in the game. It was only feasible to add wing missions the way we have.
