Why you can't have a free rides, paid entry park

Its actually super possible!

Heres an easy step by step to get it working

1. Get a nicely profiting park
plenty of rides with an approval rating 85% or higher.

2. Save up a starting bankroll of AT LEAST 50K++
You are going to take a financial hit at first

3. ***** Save the game! *****
This is so that if anything goes very badly you can revert back

4. Pause the game

5. turn all your ride prices to 0$
tab works in the rides tab so you can just keep alternating between pressing tab and 0 key to quickly set them all to 0.00$

6. Zoom in to the ticket stand at your parks entrance. Turn ticket price up to 100$ and unpause the game. Lower the price by 5$ until about 90-98% of people that walk up to your park, pay the entrance fee and come in.
note: For this step I literally just stayed facing my ticket booth on speed 3 and just kept dropping the price until almost everyone was coming in. (Mine ended up all the way down to 65$ but my park is also a very strange and spacious layout. So I'm sure many parks could easily pull in 100$ if designed with efficiency in mind.

Final notes: I switched to ticket prices only and my park has never been more profitable. After the final step I clicked random guests in particular regions of my park and took note of the most common needs in the area (I.E. Food/drink/energy/etc) and Placed: food where people needed food; drink where people needed drink; benches and gulpie energy shops where people needed energy. And then finally I just spent some time tweaking each shops prices and extras. This may actually be one of the most essential things to do, and you might even argue a case that it is the missing step 7, because without ride prices ALL of your income basically comes from food/drink/gift sales. The entry ticket basically just keeps the lights on.

PS. Enjoy your entry fee only park! [cool][cool][cool][big grin][big grin][alien][up] Your welcome!
