Why you have not yet bought a skin in the store?

Because they are only available for eagles and sidewinders t the moment.

Both ships I don´t plan on keeping for longer than necessary

While I already have (Blue Sonaran or blue streak) :D, Id love to see more of the other examples they had in the news letter :) and for other ships as well. ( Cow hide lakon T9 anyone? )

although i very optimistic, i would like to see the release version first, before buying anything cosmetic

but still will be quite unlikely - not for such cosmetics - maybe to help out if they desperately would need more money or something..

Why should i even buy a skin when i not even can view my ship from the outside....

Same as in star citizen, not allowing 3pv is so ridiculous and waste of gfx.
I would love to see something like in the X games where you can enjoy the space, ships ect with some simple nice view options.

Its a game not a pvp mmo.

When I first saw the skins in the newsletter I wasn't keen on them and was vocal about it on here.

I've changed my mind. They're actually quite cool now I've seen them in game - I even bought one :p

Will get one for a cobra. Saw one entering the coriolis as I left and it did look cool. Then realized I'm in solo, do NPC's get pocket money? :)

Waiting for the ones seen on the newsletter, and somthing a bit better than a stripe in some color.
Also as many others interested in paintjobs for other ships than just sidy and eagel.
But eventually i will buy a handful, when i see some that appeal to me.

What I really miss most atm is external view cam(s). Not to net in some advantages over a purist cockpit player, but to create some cool Screenshots (and use them as references for paintings).

Plus I would like skins for more ships than just the Eagle and Sidewinder. But I take it there's more to come. Hopefully together with external cams ;)

On the couple of occasions when I've clicked on skins in the outfitters there didn't appear to be anything listed. From where can they be purchased?

I may get one for the ship that I end up calling my "own". Not sure whether it will be a Cobra Mk III or something else.

Still, not being able to see the ship from outside diminishes the attraction of the skins.
