Astronomy / Space Wide angle pictures from outer space?

I am looking for wide angle pictures taken from outer space. (maybe composite)

I do not think I have ever seen one. They all seem to be narrow field from Hubble etc.

Very hi-rez and visible light spectrum preferred. And with no near planets or moon in the view. Just want stars, gas and galaxies..lots of em.

Does such an image even exist?

Thanks in advance of any links.

Simple answer is no

if your looking for a picture with lots of galaxies ect your only going to find something like hubble deep field or similar, the nature of galaxies is there a LONG way away and light takes a LONG time to reach here so you have to point your telescope at one thing and wait for the exposure to get what you want so you can only really use a narrow field. people however have photographed the entire visable milkyway so you can see that as one image. but the wider the angle the less detail you can see individual objects......

well just type star field into google images you'll find thousands. All I am saying is you won't get lots and lots of galaxies as they need to be focused on individually :)
