Will 1.3 finally add pilot avatars to ship cockpits?

It's been a pet peeve of mine for a while - our cockpits are empty when viewed from the outside. I've seen videos that show a pilot in the seat of the Diamondback, though the Courier seat still looks empty. Any word on whether Pilot avatars will FINALLY be added across all ships with 1.3?

It's such an obvious revenue source for FD (customizable avatars) that I'm somewhat surprised they haven't been added yet with clothing for sale in the store.

Then again, I'm also surprised that some of the cool-looking NPC-only skins haven't been put up for sale. I'd love to spend more money with FD but they just refuse to take it! :)

They're in beta. They're not customizable, and even male/female settings get ignored at the moment as only a male model is shown (unless they've stealth updated in the last few days)

It's great for presenting a sense of scale in a way the empty chair never seemed to do.

Must've missed that note, but that's cool to hear. Thanks for clarifying. The game needs a bit more "life" and this will help. Next customizable avatars perhaps and personnel walking around near station docking bays... And mission-givers with a face. And... And.... And. I know.... Baby steps!
