Will a 1060 6GB & i5 4690 run Elite VR?

I appreciate it seems a stretch, and a somewhat dumb question. But my friend has just shown me VR on the Rift, and I'm a little excited.

I've been playing quite happily (and smoothly) with a GTX 770 and DK2 since the PBish. I'm saving for a 1070 though. Don't see why a 1060 wouldn't work. Don't expect ultra settings though. Having said that, I play on VR Ultra setting, but I'm somewhat of an anomaly. I'm either at 75fps (DK2) or 38fps (possible aws?) and it appears as smooth as butter to my eyes. Matter of fact, as it pertains to me, VR ED is running better than it ever has.

yes you can, but need to find right config

anyway I suggest the 1070.

Got the 1060 the other week.

No problems whatsoever with running ED with my DK2.
