Will animals be able to feed off other animals?

(please take this politely as I can't word it in a polite way)
I would only like official information or strong evidence as skepticism says no.

This is a real deal breaker for me, it would be lest realistic if that were not a feature.

I know that I posted this somewhere else, but it was replied with skepticism and now less likely to get a good answer. I hope i didn't violate anything by reposting this issue.

They can be injured, and will eventually die when injured and not cured. But I'm not sure if animals will feed from each other. (most probably not).

In which stream was this? All I remember is, that (I think it was) DeLadysigner released a tiger in the zebra enclosure and the comment of an official passing by was that “kill animations are not yet implemented” (loose quote).

Hence, predators seem to be able to kill other animals.

A completely separate question would be: are they also able to fulfill their “food needs” by doing so?

Indeed.
I think, this is mostly interesting for people who want to “mess around”.
Or maybe for those who want to recreate a “real wildlife simulation”. But I guess Planet Zoo is simply the wrong game for such a desire.

I know TheGamingBeaver put a Zebra into the lion den and the lioness jump attacked it and killed it (it ragdolled) lol that made me believe the animations definitely weren't done for hunting/killing because all the other ones look so amazing and that one was out of place.

Also, who said the quote, "kill animations are not yet implemented”?

I can't wait to see the final product! 🥰😱

Yea I figure, but honestly I hope they are making the hunting/kill animations because that just gives us another sense of realism. The derpy attack I saw was funny but just didn't fit in with the realistic animations/behaviors these animals do in game. xD
