Will be the permanent connection to play ??? (other questions)

I was thinking about buying your game in steam. I do not normally have a connection so I buy the game and I usually play it offline many times and that's why I never buy games with a permanent connection.

Another question is if being offline you can get achievements as in many other steam games.

And one last doubt is whether the game will have dlc

A careful answer because I'm not 100% sure but to my knowledge the game needs a one time (online) activation and after that you can play it also offline.
Not sure about the achievements because I never play offline but I think they will also work.
The game will definitely have dlc, in fact today they announced that there will be a free Fallen Kingdom dlc upgrade.
Again I say I'm not 100% sure about this and I hope someone from Frontier can answer this.

I would say yes (but i can have wrong) mostly of the steams games you should be able to play offline, but! Achivements or other important/funny functions would possible not be available then.

This was asked on Reddit I think and they confirmed you only need internet to install. After that the game doesn't need it to play.
