ED & EDO will be compatible with Windows 11, but Windows 11 will only support the latest processors as well as a working TPM.

The developers will certainly be on it. Meanwhile, the question is the wrong way around. Will Windows 11 be compatible with your game and everything else you want to continue using? No point changing before knowing that for sure. Windows 10 didn't become compatible with me until a long time after its introduction and I don't foresee another upgrade until forced to because applications I need don't work anymore.

They will permit people with older hardware to install Win 11 but they might not offer driver support to those that do.

I tried it a few weeks ago on my laptop and honestly I wasn't blown away. Given that the much touted android app support isn't going to be there at launch im not in a hurry to upgrade.
It makes me glad that Linux is getting quite so much positive attention...That's old news and partially wrong.

It's working for me (build 22449).
No its entirely optional to upgrade to Win 11.

I was being facetious I know it's getting a lot more much deserved attention.
It does look a bit MacOS like.
This gives Microsoft some breathing room between now and launch, and enough time for testers to play with Windows 11 free from these new restrictions. But if you’re testing Windows 11 right now on an older CPU that’s not on the official list, the chances are you’ll need to reinstall Windows 10 at the end of the preview period. Microsoft is allowing testers to access Windows 11 on a wide range of hardware during the preview, but it’s planning to apply these new restrictions at launch. I would be surprised if there is a major change to these hardware requirements later this year, other than Microsoft stepping down to some 7th Gen chips. So enjoy testing Windows 11 while you still can.
