Hardware & Technical Will Elite recognize multiple throttles?

Here is what I am wondering...

I really like my x52 pro joystick because it has plenty of buttons and hats, but the main reason is that it is vedry comfortable, fits my hand perfectly. I have tried other sticks, and hat and button placement are not comfortable for me, so I really want to keep using my x52 pro joystick. The thing is, it is daisy chained through the throttle, and can not be used stand alone. I want a different throttle.

So...

Since space is not an issue, will Elite Dangerous work alright with multiple throttles? Can I hook up a stand alone throttle and use that, and just ignore the x52 pro throttle so I can still use my x52 stick?

That's what I was hoping. I think I am going to get an x56 throttle throttle then.

Last I heard the game supports 4 USB controllers.

I think the game suports as many controllers as you wish as long as they don't collide in Windows. The game itself should simply see all contollers as a bunch of axes and buttons.
