I've been aligned with Aisling Duval for over a year but only because I thought I'd get those Prismatic shields if I grind enough merits. I could never be bothered with that though and now that we can craft our own materials/weapons etc with the release of the engineers update, I've left Aisling Duval and won't bother with powerplay at all now unless it improves.
I know a lot of people do powerplay for the control of systems and for their power etc but a lot also powerplay just for the rewards of better weapons/shields etc.
Will powerplay get enough love in the coming year to get/keep more people involved or will the engineers update push it even further back on the things to do list? I just think it seems a shame that this was a major update when it came out and ended up being a major disappointment and now with the engineers update it may not factor at all in a lot of people's play.
