Unfortunately… no!In the upcoming update, will everything be unlocked in sandbox mode plus the removal of scientists, status checks, alignments and genetic modification point caps?
Your lack of humility towards players who just want to have fun staggers me.Hello!
What you have access to in Sandbox Mode will still be tied to what you've researched and released in other modes.
And how do we release them in challenge/chaos theory mode?As we announced on stream today, the new DLC animals will be available immediately, however.
This....this is bang on pointWhat I don't understand is the mindset going into making sandbox mode. The need any building besides the hatchery is backwards. As it is, we need the control center (for scientists), a couple staff centers, 3 if we're just pumping out dinos as quickly as possible WITHOUT having to wait for a scientist with the right skill level to be ready (again for scientists) and finally a hatchery to make the dino (for which we need scientists). I get that the scientist mechanic is new some people like it but ultimately this is supposed to be a dinosaur maintenance game not a scientist maintenance game. I, and many others, do not enjoy keeping our scientists happy since it doesn't actually add to the game for aesthetics or atmosphere. So back to sandbox, remove them completely so we can have as minimal buildings needed to make a wild safari type park since the literal attractions here are the dinos not the scientists.
The game isn't a competitive game where people go onto leaderboards and post their best times for beating challenge mode. People post their dinos and the aesthetics of their parks, trying to recreate the movie locations or coming up with their own stuff. It's not like people travel from all around the world to compete in tournaments of who can get to 5 stars the quickest. Sandbox mode is the core of the game, in my opinion, cause after the challenges are done, there's little left save for sandbox to enjoy the freedom and creativity of making our own parks. I assume this because I doubt there are more than a handful of people willing to replay Jurassic challenges and use up hours upon hours to attempt to beat the par score or their own.
