Will I lose my save if I uninstall the game?

Simple question: Will I lose my save if I completely uninstall the game or is my character at least backed up server side as well? :S

I can confirm this as I've had to uninstall the game a couple of times due to file corruptions (my PC side, not FD's side), and my save has always been there when I reinstall.
