Will I need to upgrade my pc much at all.

So i did some searching to see if I need to upgrade my pc for this game and have found nothing much. So i wanted to ask the forums. btw im not sure if im posting this in the right place.

So the current system requirements game now are these:

Minimum recommended hardware specification:
Direct X 11
Quad Core CPU (4 x 2Ghz is a reasonable minimum)
2 GB System RAM (more is always better)
DX 10 hardware GPU with 1GB video ram
Internet connection
Supported Operating Systems:
Windows 7.x
Windows 8.x
For the final game the minimum hardware

This does not look too too high.

But I wanted to post my build and get some opinions on it and see if I need to upgrade.

Processor: i5-3570k @ 3.40 GHz 3.8 Ghz. I personally think I can keep this and run this game fine with it, but if you guys recommend a upgrade pleae say.

Graphics: Nvidia Geforce GTX 660 ti(2 GB): This is what im worried about, do i need to upgrade? I want to be able to play this game on medium settings or higher. Just to mention i have a 600 watt power supply

RAM: 8 GB, I will probably upgrade this anyway.

1.2 TB left of storage which is enough.

So what do you guys think? Do I need to upgrade anything or am I good?

I understand we are all just taking guesses, so anything is appreciated, thank you :)

A SSD may be worth considering for your OS and elite.

Your specification is higher than mine and I do not plan to upgrade.

I run an old i7 and a 660Ti and everything is fine on maximum details - the few times there's low framerates is when the game is buggy. That said, we don't have a lot of different scenarios yet. But for what it's worth, Port Zelada runs smoothly and even the bigger SP battles with lots of ships are perfectly fine.

This is pretty much what I play alpha on today (you have a slightly better processor and GFX card). I have a i5 2500K and a factory OC GTX 660, not a 660 TI). I built the machine from scavenged parts. It's unbelievable what people throw out. I ask them to throw the stuff in my direction.

I'll probably be upgrading some time in the next year or so, but I'm in no hurry. I have so far played alpha at max settings with a decent result. I drop to 25-30 fps when near/entering the space station. Apart from that I'm at 50fps (limitation of my screen) unless bugs or network lag hits.

You should be fine for now.

Hey Man,
8 gig of ram is more than enough.
there are very few cases in which you will need more than 8.
i use 16 and i can not remeber any moment where more than 8 were utilized.
and im monitoring all the time.

I have a GTX 660, 4 gig of Ram and an old intel core 2 quad Q6600 at 2.4ghz and it runs the current alpha build just fine.

It never fills up the 4g of RAM, runs about 75%

I monitor pc stats on a separate screen, my CPU cores all max out, but GPU processor and memory is only about 50%

I have:
i7 2600 (3.4Ghz)
EVGA GTX780 Classified
16GB of Ram
Corsair Force3 180GB SSD boot drive
750gb Samsung Evo SSD data drive
750GB Samsung 7200RPM old fashioned powered by hamsters drive...
2x 27 inch 1080p monitors..
I don't expect to have to upgrade it at all and neither should you.
