Will-o-the-wisp vanity cam

Sometimes sitting in the dock at Jameson at the end of the night with not enough time to do anything useful, I'll enter vanity cam mode, detach it and fly around the station looking at points of interest. The orbis station interior is vast and filled with details. Such as, I'll peek in the cockpit of fellow cmdr ships docked and there they sit: looking around, flexing their hands and whatnot. I'll read the ship names and admire the various paint jobs. The station buildings seem to be void of human activity. Otherwise it's always fun for about 5 mins. Anyone else do this?

I do that too, especially at CGs. I like seeing the color/decal/ship kit combos other players come up with. Plus, I like “exploring” the station.

This habit started as I enjoy watching the other ships come and go thru the slot, then I discovered awsd is a directional control for the cam as one would expect.

Sure.

Also sometimes I just use the ship to do this; it's amazing where you can fit an orca. Ahem.

Cutter too; though it's probably a bit intimidating for the little katydid (DBS) harmless commander pilot fresh out of flight school to see a hulking great space beast 3 inches away creepily perving marvelling at their holo me creation and the paint job, though. Except when they suddenly go offline (space beast strikes again).

Aww. Infinite sadness. :(

And when your departure timer runs out... Zap.
