Will pirating have important consequence on a station?

Does anyone know what will happen to a station in an anarchy system if people just stopped trading there at all?

Will the station stop being operational? Since no goods will be coming in and out anymore.

Sorry if this topic is already covered somewhere, I couldn't find an answer of what the devs have planned.

NPCs trade as well, so it's not just dependent on PCs supplying desired goods.
