Will Premium Beta multiplayer progress carry-on to the final game?

Hey there,

If I were to purchase the game when it's released, will the world already be populated with the players from the Beta and their current progress? In other words, will I need to catch up when the game is released or will everyone start again from scratch?

The only difference will be all the experience gained by the alpha and beta testers! This can't be reset Michael! Hehe!

Gamma *is* sort of final version, everyone from KS period with at least copy of the game and preordering it now will play it.

It is very hard to tell when. We have premium and normal beta cycles to do. I would say 4 months minimum, but even FD don't know for sure, so we will have to wait and see.

You can find the pricing of the different stages here. I guess it is prudent to note that the pre-order for the retail product and the "normal" beta does not include the addon pass, which would make you eligible for planetary landings and other planned featuers as they roll out. If you opt for the final product pre-order, you either have to buy the pass, or buy the addons when they come out separately.

Hey Mr. Brookes are you going to keep you're promise seems like a news today stating it won't be reset wich would make thousands of people very angry making a big unfair advantage. Actually many players even playing since a while would prefer to reset as well. I think the backers already have enough rewards...

The "promise" he made there has been kept. We had a reset at the beginning of Gamma and that will carry through to release. I really do not care if they had decided to wipe, so sorry to the thousands you will be upset but this was the plan from early in development.

I know that you don't care about the thousands of players who Pre-ordered the game like you just said. It,s exactly the point i was saying they have no respect for their new and future customers and they are litterally showing their middle finger to us when we are the client.

What are you on about? FD are doing, and have done, exactly what they originally said they would do.

There is no middle finger - even to rude posts such as this!

Early backers are having huge bonus and a 1 month head start nobody can call this fair. They can be happy that they have it and that they will get to Own everyone else in an unfair way but that's it. Actually the early backers won't be the ones buying expansions in future since they have the unlimited expansion plan. It's people like me with the base game, the ones who will get totally Owned from the early backers. People are asking Refund in mass and in the future if it continues this way we simply won't buy the expansions that's it.
