I don't know why you think he is arrogant, but stuff like this would be fun additions to the ED universe.
The game needs all kinds of weird attractions. This could be one of them.
And if you do not want to see it, then the solution is simple. Don't go there.
The ED universe is large enough to accommodate Musk's displays of perceived arrogance as well as you.

If Donald Trump, a man I loathe like no other living man, would have pulled a stunt like this, I would still like to see it reflected in the game as a curiosity.

Well, unless it collides with something else, it's likely the car will still be up there in another thousand years. However, between bombardment from radiation from the Van Allen belts and cosmic sources, and micrometeorite strikes, it's likely there won't be much left. Well maybe the metal frame and other components, but that'd be about it.
