Will the paths have a color palet to?

I saw in a video that you can change the color of some items (in the video he had a green fence that he has changed to a different color). Can you also change the color of the paths, or rocks, or walls, or treas/plants etc? or are there limited items that can have a colorchange? (and if the last one is yes, then wat can or can't be changed?)

You can only change the colors of some specific items (and fences), but I doubt someone is able to name all of them... there are a lot of pieces in the game.
I would recommend watching a few of the livestreams from gamescom for a first impression.

Unfortunately, the content creator’s overlay mostly covered the item description. Furthermore, I do not own PC and hence are not used to the building system. I can only guess, that the information about re-coloring is placed there?

Hence my related question: Is there a way to tell from the thumbnails, whether or not an element can be colored?
I have watched quite a few of those streams and therefore know that there is an indication for “raster items”.
I didn’t notice, however, a symbol for re-color able items. This could be solely due to the fact I didn’t knew where to look.
Or it could be because there is no such indication.

Which brings me to my suggestion: If in fact there is no such a thing - wouldn't it be a good idea to add it? For example a small color-wheel icon at the upper right corner of the thumbnails?
With the over-abundance of construction elements (which is a great thing to have!), I feel it would be favorable to be able to see in one glance, if the item can be colored - in contrast to having to select it and look at the info panel at the lower right every time.

But you are right, I think it would be a nice addition!

Paths were not colourable in the demo at Gamescom, and are not in Planet Coaster, so I can guess it may not happen. However it would be a nice feature.
