One is OPEN PLAY, one is Group Play, and one is SOLO Play...
Been playing SOLO Play... Earned some credits...
___So, if Play SOLO Play, Will Elite Dangerous Allow to buy a New Ship...?
What's the difference with OPEN Play And SOLO Play...?

All games modes share the same server and galactic data. The only difference is the filtering of players.

Open - everyone is (can be) visible.
Private Group - only those players allowed into the group can be seen.
Solo - no players will be seen.

There are no other restrictions between modes, other than other players.

Yes, you can buy and fly with your ship in solo, group and open.

In solo you play completely alone, in open you play with anyone else that plays in open.

Have a look in stations that have a SHIPYARD. If there are Pythons and Anacondas, feel free to drool a bit. The prices are high.

Solo mode is almost as though you are the only player ever in Elite Dangerous. Some background stuff (e.g. the economy and politics) are dictated in part by the actions of all players, so you might see price fluctations, or see on GalNet that there's a civil war. That's the bit that everyone influences.

Open mode is a galaxy full of every human player online at that time. Some places are nice, and everyone plays nice. There are some core systems where apparently there are some people who play a tough game in the ED playground, so getting good at combat and running away (not in that order) is the order of the day for survival.

Group mode is kinda special. You and a few friends could form a group to play together in your own galaxy, or there are giant groups like Mobius with 7,000+ members. There's a separate forum section for this, but basically the owner of the group can remove players who don't play nicely, so it's generally a safer way to play than Open, but not as isolated feeling as Solo.
