Will there be furniture in the game?

So i don't have the game myself yet as the alpha is too expensive but I've watched quite a few videos of it, one thing i don't remember seeing so far is any furniture or concept art of any. Is there any indication of whether there will be any actual furniture in the game at some point? I'm talking about chairs, tables, bookcases, shelves, cabinets etc. They seem like things that are needed to properly make indoor areas.

Would be nice, especially if i want to build a haunted house dark ride. Or in fact for a fairy tale dark ride like "Dreamflight" in the Efteling.

I highly doubt they will get that detailed with things, probably something someone will create and you will be able to download through steam

Not so much the same thing. Those are along the same lines as benches, intended for outdoor use.

In what way is that getting detailed with things? They've given players the ability to build indoor structures and interiors yet there's no way to actually make them without creating your own furniture out of props. It would be great to have the ability to create places that aren't just either fake buildings without interiors . That isn't something that's completely unheard of for theme parks, indoor plazas and ride enterances are perfectly normal from what i've seen. You can place stalls and such indoors and that's something clearly intended, yet they somewhat feel like they're not meant to be there because of the lack of indoor props.

I thought the game wasn't going to let players make custom props and such anyway, just blueprints will be shared via steam.

Yes, we really need furnitures, for example if we want to build a Restaurant. For this we will need some little Tables and Chairs.

They need to start a UGC forum here where people can talk about UCG and make requests for UGC. When I played RCTW, I posted in their UGC thread something I needed and within 24 hours someone had created it for me. I'm sure you'll see lots of furniture popping up in the Workshop. And, via the forums, you can make specific requests.

Before they start a UGC forum, they have first to allow UGC in the game. I don't think Frontier is ready for that...from what I have read so far. Their current plan remains "UGC in the box".

On the other hand...there is this curious item uploaded in the workshop already.

Is that a first glimpse of possible custom UGC support down the line? This does not look like "UGC in the box"...:D

I can already tell you, that item is some rocks, and the wooden planks of alpha 2. It also looks small, but is quite big.

I was under the impression that user created things such as actual new props and items wasn't going to be a part of the game. Building something out of the current stuff isn't the same as actually having it properly in the game and able to be interacted with by visitors.

What's wrong with using a lot of picnic tables, especially in a western themed restaurant?

While there's nothing wrong with using the current props to create your own indoor furniture or just using the outdoor stuff instead, it would be a huge missed opportunity. It would be strange for the developers to give players the ability to create all these buildings with interiors and then provide nothing that's actually meant to be used for them. Obviously you can place what's in the game already but what i mean is there's nothing you know is supposed to be used inside, like bookcases, tables, chairs, cabinets, shelves, couches, paintings etc.
