Will there still be any zoo guest at night or evening time

I would like to check with everyone here. Do you all know whether are there still any zoo guest in the zoo when evening or night time or when the sky are dark?

I would like to build my zoo as a night safari or night zoo concept.

Similar to my local zoo, Singapore night safari.

During the beta no guests left the park at night. There was a time (adjustable) for park openings and closings.

The guests will leave when they leave or if they are tired and want to go. Guests stay no matter what time of day they are in the zoo

I remember someone mentioning once before the only thing opening times did was determine whether or not you had a night/day cycle. I can't confirm that though.

I feel like when I was playing I never had a night cycle, but it's been so long I forget if I'm correct on that or not xD

EDIT: If that is true though then you could maybe set your opening hours for night time only and you'd never have daylight...?

I believe the day/night cycle, and the opening/closing months actually have no effect in-game, they don't change profits or anything. I think it does change how fast the "night" starts and ends, though.
