Will this pc handle Planet Coaster

https://forums.planetcoaster.com/sh...u-need-to-know-about-the-Planet-Coaster-alpha

What are the minimum specs required to play the Planet Coaster alpha?

You will need the following minimum spec in order to play the alpha:

  • Windows 7 64bit or newer
  • Intel Core i5 -2300, AMD FX-4300 or better
  • 8GB Ram
  • Nvidia GTX 560 / ATI Radeon 7850 Graphics card with 2GB of Graphics Memory or better

It’s important to remember that this is an alpha and during that process there are both optimisations and new feature additions which can change minimum and recommended specs considerably. So these are likely to change over time.

We’ve had great feedback about how Planet Coaster is already looking, even in alpha. It will improve even further – we are developing a true leading edge AAA game, with high poly counts, sophisticated rendering, a deep simulation, many characters and incredible animations. The higher above the minimum spec your PC is, the more the game will be able to reward you with an improved experience.

So : No
(and if, by chance, the game runs, this will not be in the best conditions)

You need a dedicated graphics card. On board graphics won't work. Better off buying a PC with an i5 CPU with 8 GB of RAM, and installing a graphics card. Laptops , even the expensive gaming ones, are horrible for gaming. The battery either doesn't last long enough, or the graphics aren't up to par.

Edit: You can do for $800 or less if you a monitor, and it'll be a decent gaming PC.

I would not risk it. that laptop has an onboard GPU. here I built you a computer for that same price that will easily run it. it is a desktop not a laptop but it has everything you need. case, powersupply, mobo, videocard, monitor, mouse, keyboard, cpu, windows 10...check it out. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/rCVb4D

hope this helps

No. you need a dedicated GPU to safely run it. that means you either need a desktop or a gaming laptop. Those gaming laptops can get upwards to 3K..plus you cant upgrade them

I have a Nvidia Geforce 945M in my laptop (I think it is below the minimum specs), but PC runs fine on my laptop (not on the best settings though, but I'm cool with that).

I have a white thin HP 15-ab222tx laptop with optical drive.
6th gen Intel Core i5-6200u with Intel HD 520 integrated.
2GB AMD Radeon R7 M360 graphics
8GB DDR3L 1600 RAM
Windows 10 64-bit

Thanks to the R7 graphics, I can play it on 1920x1080 low settings with 20fps.

You really need a QUAD core i5/i7 CPU not duo core. Also 8GB RAM is the absolute minimum recommended RAM to have. Well the i5-6200u is Intel's 6th gen aka which means it's by today's standards current gen from Intel, it's only got 2 physical cores but it has hyperthreading. The Intel HD 520 graphics within the i5 processor can play The Sims 4 on High Settings at 14fps approximately. You also should have a good secondary GPU like AMD or Nvidia at least 2GB dedicated graphics memory. This game for sure has HIGHER system requirements than The Sims 4.
