Will we get a full year of DLC in 2025

Probably not. But i expect at least two.

I really hope for mirror packa: New world pack vs Old world pack to wrap up things with birds, monkeys and Southamerican fauna.

If it was up to me i would do them like this:

New World Pack (aka Americas pack)

1. Patagonian mara
2. Greater rhea
3. Southamerican coati
4. Mexican spider monkey / Black and gold howler
5. Sea otter
6. Roseatte spoonbill / Scarlet ibis
7. Musk ox

Old World Pack (aka sleeper bird pack)

1. Secretary bird
2. Mandarin duck
3. Golden pheasant
4. Blackbuck
5. Honey badger /Serval
6. Great white pelican
7. Mantled guereza

Anniversary: ABB / Nile croc

Those names are kind of controversial so a North vs South Animal Pack could be a variant of this with slightly different choices:

Northern Hemisphere animal pack

1. Musk ox
2. Sea otter
3. Blackbuck
4. Honey badger (could be replaced by mexican spider monkey)
5. Golden pheasant
6. Mandarin duck
7. Great white pelican

Southern Hemisphere Animal pack

1. Secretary bird
2. Greater rhea
3. Patagonian mara
4. Southamerican coati
5. Scarlet ibis
6. Black howler monkey
7. Short beaked echidna

According to planetzoo.fandom.com/wiki/Planet_Zoo_Wiki Notable Planet Zoo News, 30 October, 2024: Another animal pack was officially mentioned to arrive in 2025!
Hopefully any kind of DLC pack that will feature what I hoped for since African leopard being chosen.

Continental Animals Pack featuring one from each continent
  1. American black bear (North America)
  2. Squirrel monkey (South America)
  3. European hedgehog (Europe)
  4. Masai giraffe (Africa)
  5. Yak (Asia)
  6. Perentie or lace monitor (Australia)
  7. Gentoo or adelie penguin (Antarctica)
  8. Exhibit: one or more (like five butterfly species in one pack) small fish species like clownfish and seahorse (Oceans)
Or this:
Biome Pack featuring one of each biome
  1. American black bear (taiga)
  2. Masai giraffe (grassland)
  3. Elk (taiga)
  4. Squirrel monkey (tropical)
  5. Perentie (desert)
  6. Adelie penguin (tundra)
  7. Rockhopper penguin (aquatic)
  8. Exhibit: one or more (like five butterfly species in one pack) small fish species like clownfish and seahorse

5. Domestic Yak
6. Perentie
7. Rockhopper Penguin

3. Domestic Rabbit (temperate)
4. Black Howler Monkey (tropical)
5. Patagonian Mara (grasslands)

Lastly I'd add: Aviary Animal Pack
1. Wild Turkey
2. Grey-crowned Crane
3. Puffin
4. American Flamingo
5. Common Pheasant
6. White-faced Whistling Duck
7. Mallard Duck

a full year? Doubtful. I'm optimistic we'll get two packs though.

Best case scenario to me:

Latin America Animal Pack (7+1, no scenery) - April 2025
Black Howler Monkey
Squirrel Monkey
Coatimundi
Ocelot (I'd love to switch out the Brazilian Porcupine but I think that's very unlikely)
Greater Rhea
Southern Pudu
Patagonian Mara
Two Toed Sloth (WTE)

Finale/Worldwild pack (7+1+ Urban/City Scenery) - $15 instead of $10.
Muskox (North America)
Spider Monkey (South America)
Eurasian Otter (Europe)
Tree Kangaroo (Oceania)
Mandarin Duck (Asia)
King/Indian Cobra (Asia) - Exhibit
Secretary Bird (Africa)
Honey Badger or Masai Giraffe (Africa)

6 Year Anniversary - American Black Bear

I doubt we will go back to 4 but I hope we end up getting 2 more.

I am hoping for a shrublands and rainforest pack next year to give us some birds, monkeys and south america:

Shrublands animal pack:
1. Greater Rhea
2. Patagonian Mara
3. Blackbuck
4. Hanuman Langur
5. Perentie
6. Grey Crowned Crane
7. Southern Ground Hornbill

Rainforest animal pack:
1. Black Headed Spider Monkey
2. Roseate Spoonbill
3. South American Coati
4. Mantled Guereza
5. White Faced Whistling Duck
6. Victoria Crowned Pigeon
7. Palawan Peacock Pheasant

Anniversary 6: Saddle Billed Stork

I'm betting for two more packs to wrap things up.

I think LATAM is long overdure, but demand for NA animals have also risen lately, specially for the ABB, the walrus and the musk ox, so i think a broader Americas pack (AKA new world pack could be the solution here). Coati is the most requested mammal right now, and the request for american brids and primates is high. A pack like this would fix all those gaps in the roster... i would personally do it something like this:

From North to South

1. Musk ox
2. American black bear
3. A pink bird (scarlet ibis or roseatte spoonbill are my picks, but Frontier would probably go for the American flamingo as an easy clone that allows them to do two birds in this pack without much effort)
4. A spider or howler monkey (high effort animal)
5. A coati species
6. Greater rhea
7. Patagonian mara

Then i would follow that with an around the world pack with the remaining most requested animals and making it a sleeper birds pack without doing a full on bird dlc:

1. Tree kangaroo (star)
2. Secretary bird
3. Great white pelican
4. A duck
5. Walrus
6. Blackbuck
7. Sea otter / Honey badger / Serval

Anniversary: depends on what we get in the packs: American flamingo, American black bear, ocelot, serval, sea otter, nile crocodile, perentie, greater rhea... all work as anniversary animals imo.

I don't think this is how Frontier would make the packs, just what i realistically hope they would be (well second pack not that realistic but still...). If up to Frontier will probably end up with guanaco, brazilian tapir and squirrel monkey instead of other cooler or more important options.

6 Year Anniversary - American Black Bear
This is exactly what I'm expecting. 2 more DLCs to wrap things up and make it to the 20th DLC. One in April, the other in October/November.
I would love having like 8 new species for the Latin America Pack, same roster than yours except that I would gladly add the Brazilian Porcupine instead of the Greater Rhea and not the Ocelot (because I'm not a fan of this big bird but I agree it is a key species from SA).

For the final pack, same theme idea. I would just love if it could contain 12 species instead of just 8. Here is why:
1) It's the final pack. Let's finish this properly.
2) I'm willing to pay more but we need to receive more.
3) The zoo project on which I'm working aims to contain 12 different areas that cover the world. I think it would be possible to make a DLC with a species from each of these zones. Here is what I would do.

-South America (whatever interesting species is left after the potential release of a Latin America pack)
-Central America/Caribbean (I'd love the Roseate Spoonbill, American Flamingo or White Ibis)
-North America (Rocky Mountain Elk or American Black Bear)
-Arctic (Musk Ox or Walrus)
-Europe (Alpine Marmot)
-Sub-saharan Africa/Savanna (Nile Crocodile or Serval)
-Central Africa/Tropical Forest (Mantled Guereza, Zerba Duiker or Shoebill)
-Maghreb/Middle East (Aoudad?)
-South Asia - India (Blackbuck or Lion Tailed Macaque)
-East Asia (Golden Snub Nosed Monkey, Muntjac or Raccoon Dog)
-South East Asia (Sulawesi Crested Macaque or Delacour's Langur)
-Australia/Oceania (Echidna, Tree Kangaroo or Tiger Quoll)

I know it's monkey heavy here but there a lot of other interesting possibilities. I think it would be my dream final pack.

Tried to make these packs fair/ non-biased and excluded some animals I would personally like such as a Coyote and American Black Bear so I didn't over-do it on the carnivores and got some more primate, marsupial, bird, and reptile representation in the packs.

4. Emperor Penguin (Antarctica)

Aren't alligator snapping turtles too big to be Exhibit? Like as big as any monitor lizards.

Hmmm.....I'm not sure according to wiki this is their average size range:
Excluding exceptionally large specimens, adult alligator snapping turtles generally range in carapace length from 35 to 80.8 cm (13.8 to 31.8 in) and weigh from 8.4 to 80 kg (19 to 176 lb).[14][17][18][19] Males are typically larger than females.[20] 88 adult alligator snapping turtles averaged 21.05 kg (46.4 lb), 92 averaged 19.72 kg (43.5 lb), and 249 averaged 13.5 kg (30 lb)
For that matter, Sea Turtles might be too big for exhibits as well.

Full year I doubt. I think the one we are getting was always planned as second to last but something got in the way.
I am not completely against the idea though that they might change their plans and pull out another pack with a 6 month gap or find another way to support PZ 1 longer.

I would be darn surprised if we got a full year of DLC, on the other hand bundles are selling well, so if we got a full four more DLCs I wouldn’t be surprised.
