Will we get more animals per DLC this year

When I first saw the thread in the morning, that was my first thought, one of the pine trees, I went over each plant, and for some reason this one bothered me a bit. I went back into the game, grab the pine in question, and blurred the pic at every angle. Definitely not that tree. So I used canva trying my best attempt to see what exactly was behind the good old house, and I came up with something very different, but not 100% sure.

You know what you are absolutely right, just saw the second picture and blew it up as much as I could, it is a tree already in game. It looked so different from that angle, unless they did a last minute switch for that pic, lol, no Frontier is not that much fun sadly.

Well something might have actually popped in one of the pictures that has never been in the game before, I'm trying my best to identify the name of the species. Frontier blurred the picture in the background so it took all the fine detail off, but the shape of it at that distance in unlike anything we currently have, and like very much like a little green friend not currently in the game, but I want to be sure I got it right before giving it away. It is usually pretty easy to identify new foliage since they never distort the background, not this time. But I'm almost certain.

I imagine that picture is taken in the new timed scenario map. Since that map will be part of the free update it will be part of the base game, so there shouldn't be anything from a DLC in it. Of course they could put something there, just for the picture, but I doubt they would add an extra tree in the background for taking a picture of a statue.

I have seen the trailer, thank you, at least I got half of the South-East Asia Animal Pack predictions right, I got Sun Bear, Clouded Leopard, Malayan Tapir and Binturong, I didn't expect the Malaysian Giant Leaf Insect, Ussuri Dhole is a brilliant surprise as well as the Proboscis Monkey which is my favourite South-East Asian monkey, I just didn't think some like the Babirusa and Proboscis Monkey wouldn't be chosen because they are in Indonesia. But anyway, awesome pack, I hope more animal packs with just as many animals as this are in the future

Agreed. Actually, I get a lotta inspiration from the Pantanal section (my favorite so far)
