Will we see a drop in Alpha price?

I can understand the steep entry price for the initial Alpha, but can you lower the price for the next Alpha phase? Lets say $150 or $175?? The current $325 price tag is a little too steep.

You would see a jump in the backer's column and $,$$$,$$$.00

Why should there be a drop in price between phases? I don't think they ever intended to be some kind of differentiation between parts of Alpha. Alpha is Alpha. If they had intended this then they would have mentioned it from the start, like 1st Beta and 2nd Beta.

you had a year to save up for alpha, as if that wasn't long enough, if you want to get in on the fun your only option left is beta phase 1.

I'm going to guess that:

Short Answer: No.
Long Answer: Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.:)

While it would make sense to drop alpha price as time goes by, I seriously doubt it will happen.

Since the onset FD/DB seems to look at the KS and backers investment not quite as a simple pre sales thing and act in order to maximize revenue. But more as a connection to the fan base and the market.

First, no, it would undercut those pledging during Kickstarter, when ED was just flare glimse and lot of people openly expressed skepticism. Second, alpha will be over a little bit over the month (my guess). It is not really worth to complain about missed chances, as beta will start quite soon and will have a lot more than alpha.

Also FD are not in business of selling alpha access. They want to get to retail version as soon as possible, so everyone's getting fair chance of playing game.

Why should the price drop? Wait for Beta if it's too much it's only a couple of months. If you can't wait, practice. It's a valuable skill.
