Will we see Thargoids In-Game on August 28?

Based on the video teaser and decrypted message, do you think we'll finally see Thargoids in-game on August 28?

I hope so, because we had more than enough puzzles and the mystery has dragged on far too long.

To find us, look for a bounty hunter.

To find more clues you'll need pre-logistics support in a system with one star, two belts, three rings, and enough radiation to turn you green.

The hunt begins on the 28th.

What happens when we find this bounty hunter? Not another teaser or puzzle please. [zZzZz] [zZzZz] [zZzZz]

Call me a cynic, but I think: Aliens - yes. Thargoids - no.

Thargoids just don't seem like a mid-season kinda thing.

That's boring imo. I really hope we can finally encounter the aliens. I'm tired of the endless puzzles and teasers.

I would be surprised if we see aliens in 2.1 i think some kind of artifact like a ship leading up to 2.2 likely if there were aliens in 2.1 i cant see why the reveal of them would be now and not a month or so ago

Since 2.2 is delayed till Mid-October. That's very disappointing.

I would be surprised if we see aliens in 2.1 i think some kind of artifact like a ship leading up to 2.2 likely if there were aliens in 2.1 i cant see why the reveal of them would be now and not a month or so ago

During the last Gamescom live stream they said that they didn't want to show the aliens, because they wanted us to find them. It could be an initial excursion and small-scale encounter of Thargoids before the full invasion.

I doubt we'll see aliens of any kind on the 28th. Like Lordxemo said, we'll more likely get a clue of some sort that will point to another "big thing". We've been given the hype often enough to have learned not to count on anything that looks like big news. The big thing probably isn't even in the game yet, since FD thinks it'll take a lot of time to work out the clue.

It'll probably be a clue that'll point to a map that has a location for the clue to find another map.

I am 99% sure the Thargoids are dead. They died after the human alliance killed them during the human vs Thargoid war.
