Will you be buying alternate releases of ED ?

I'll probably sell my collector's edition, unopened if I can install from online, as I'm not fussed about physical stuff at all... so definitely won't be buying other editions! :)

If I have to change drives I prefer loading it from scratch that way any software that is no longer used or rarely used isn't reinstalled. I like the 'clean' install and put on what I need as i go along.

As for opening the box there was a thread back in December/January I believe, asking for a quick reference card to be included. A 1 page (could be double sided) with a listing of all the keyboard commands and default mappings. That card would be one of the things I would keep at arms reach anytime I am playing the game. I just hope it is laminated to give it a bit of protection.

We don't have many game shops down here in fact more and more close I only know of 2 now and one is about to go. Most people buy diretly online as it is far cheaper than walking into a shop and buying them. (physical copies).

Anyway I was hoping that local boxed versions would also be released because it would have a nice marketing campaign like cardboard standups etc. They would be great to have. I don't recall the originals having anything like that.

Dare I ask what those characters mean ?

Probably means 'No translation available' like that bloke who got a Tattoo saying that in Russian when he wanted something else that Google couldn't translate... silly sod didn't think to reverse translate it to make sure :D:D

Sadly it would take nearly 2400 C60 cassettes (using both sides) to store 2Gb of data, half that if a fast-loader was used. That would be my ultimate collector edition.

Yie Ar Kung Fu on the C64 was bad enough to load up, I think the minimum amount of times I had to rewind and press play for the game to load properly was about 10, and that was one side of a cassette.

Depends.

If it comes out on the Xbone/PS4 and I've got a group of friends playing on it then I will. Otherwise I'll stick to the PC version and it'll probably by much better.

Won't be buying a physical version of the PC game. My PC doesn't have an optical drive as I haven't as yet had a need for one thanks to Steam and Fibre Optic bum-band.
