You can’t expect Frontier to pay for the Windows computer and the postage surely? It’s for the good of the game
Costs are obviously being watched very closely.
I imagine for the US prize they have partner in the US who will assemble and deliver it for them so postage doesn't need to be an issue, they just need partners in each country who can assemble and deliver a decent PC to the required specs.
So I just did a quick rubbish quote for a roughly PC shaped package from the UK to Aus and the result was £500 ballpark.Which is about what I expected.
Followed the link in the OP to the Overclockers website and picked a sub £4k pc* then selected Australia and the shipping was about £230 using Dave Haz Lorries express.You don't have to take it yourself
Surely it doesn't cost that much?
I did wonder if the choice of countries reflected gambling laws.
I have entered the competition once, the looks of that case are quite worrying.
*Actually trying to find or ‘build’ the actual prize would take too long.

Why does it say the drawing ends today but the actual site says it ends on the 20th?

Winner Selection and Notification: The Winner will be selected by Random Draw under the supervision of the Sponsor. The Winner will be notified within 7 days of the winner selection. The Sponsor shall have no liability for a Winner's failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for a Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If the Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within 7 days from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and release as required, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate Winner selected. Receipt of the prize offered in this Campaign by the Winner is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Any violation of these official rules by the Winner at the Sponsor's sole discretion will result in the Winner's disqualification as winner, and all privileges as winner will be immediately terminated
Maybe they are waiting for the winner before making this official. Nothing in my junk e-mail.
