i got several versions of jjffe/glffe/glffea/nics mods etc.

on my xp machine they ALL work fine, however i'm currently playing nics glffea on my pc at home, and want to carry on with my works laptop when away and can't do anything else. However glffea just drops straight to the desktop on loading, glffe doesn't just the a.

i've tried compatibility modes down to win95 with everything turned off and no joy.

Anyone got any suggestions?

The only thing I can think of is that Nic's mod only deals with "Classic FFE" ie. not the Aniso mod, because he feels it introduced too many problems. Therefore to run glffe or glffea, make sure your laptop is compatible with OpenGL2.0 (Nic's mod only needs 1.2).

By the way, I got a Vista upgrade CD when I bought my XP-based PC. Is Nic's mod ok with Vista?

ahh, i've just got this pappy tosh, the nics mod zip i downloaded, the glffe works fine, the glffea doesn't

wonder if theres a gfx update for my laptop.

keep trying to convince them at work that linux would be much better for us than AD 2003, and xp/vista
