Windows 10 and stuttering

Hi all,

I finally got to a place last week with settings, and the new Nvidia drivers helped a lot, where I get 90fps almost all the time and stuttering was non existent.

Windows 10 last night restarted my PC whilst I was playing, without my permission too, to apply a massive update. Not sure what it was but its not a great on for VR and the stuttering is back with vengeance.

Anyone else come across this and found a fix?

Format and reinstall Win 7?

I'd firstly go with a reinstall of the Nvidia drivers. Also is there any stuttering without VR?

It sounds like you may have had the Win 10 anniversary update. I have read about it not coping very well with automatic page file size and it may be worth setting manually. Have a google around for instructions and see if that makes a difference.

Though if this is purely a VR thing I'm afraid I don't have that setup.

Oculus? they did something recently ASW I think it was called, might be creating issues?
