Windows 10 Update Problems

Last night Windows 10 did a big update. I now have version 1511, build 1056.29. That seems to have messed up my ED. It now takes significantly longer to launch. I have a black screen for ages, to the point one would assume a crash, but it does eventually start. Now, when I use Alt + tab to check stuff on Chrome while the game is playing, it crashes the game. It didn't do that before the update. Anybody else had the update or found out what's wrong?

Running mine on the latest update of win 10 with no issues?

Although using firefox opposed to chrome

Hmm. I didn´t get any problems after that update. Try verify game files. If that doesn´t help go to fill bug report. Better change that it gets noticed by FDEV/fixed if you fill bug report rather than on thread on dangerous discussion

I've seen some funnies with GPU drivers after such an update. Might be worth reinstalling the driver to be safe.

OK, I've sorted it now. Windows Device Manager said I had the latest driver. GForce Experience wouldn't work either, so I uninstalled it and re-installed. There was a new driver, so I updated. Now everything seems to be back to normal.

Yeah. The stupid update installs the latest drivers it knows about. Did the same with my R390. I was REALLY surprised to see the Catalyst Control Center pop up again just before Crimson started complaining...Had to clean it up and reinstall the Crimson drivers.
