I got my new 1070 for the dk2 I like it that much I want a better one was looking at the cv1 but I don't like the idea of all the wires running around in my living room will the windows mixed reality headsets work with ed? They look good and out very soon

Not yet, SteamVR support has been announced but won't be available at launch.
I too am curious about how these windows mixed reality headsets might work for VR gaming once steam VR drivers come online. It seems both of the announced headsets are dual 1440 displays, which should give noticeably better resolution. FOV is lower I believe, but may not be a deal breaker.
