Windows update Kb5005033 issue

Hi, Anyone installed the latest Windows 10 update KB5005033, I did and found that running ED the screen would flick back to the desktop, clicking on it it would just flash to ED then back to the desktop again, making it unplayable... uninstalling the update fixed the issue.

Nope, I've got that update installed and no performance issues since. Must have been a glitch in your machine?

I've tried twice to install this update resulting with the same issue, it's a fresh install of Windows too (only 2 weeks ago), all the latest drivers for my machine and just a few startup apps.

Think I'll have back up Windows, then reinstall and see if the issue happens from a clean install and then start installing all my drivers/apps till I find out the thing that's causing it.

Have you stopped Windows 10 from automatically updating your drivers? It may be installing an earlier graphics driver for instance.

Ok, I've figured out what the issue is... I have my taskbar running down the left side of the screen and as of KB5005033 doing other than having your taskbar at the bottom breaks full screen apps :(

Looks like Microsoft are trying to force Windows 11 standards on Windows 10 users :(

No more updates for me :(
