Thunderbird may be codename for a rocket type coaster, named after the Thunderbirds.

If you read the whole thread it says they went and recorded real coasters and then created audio to match videos of them as part of the sound design process.

Thunderbird is a (launched) wing coaster at Holiday World so I am guessing in that file they were syncing/layering audio with video or something like that (they said they rode a launched coaster when they were recording the sounds so might have been that).

I wouldn't read too much into it other than they probably recorded sounds from and rode a wing coaster at some point.

Thunderbird is a B&M Wingrider like Gatekeeper at Cedar point, not an Intamin like Furius Baco.
