Wing Massacre Missions Not Working in Wing

So for the longest time my buddy and I have been able to accept multiple wing massacre missions and go out and get credit for the wing mission we share with each other. As of today, March 27th, 2021 when I share a mission with my friend and he does the same and we both are in an active wing with each other in a private session instance in the same RES site, unless I get a shot on the target I don't get credit for the kill and same goes for him. So basically if we're both killing things in the same res site we have to shoot the same target to both get credit on the mission we've shared with each other. And yes, we've made sure the targets are the actual mission targets and not random pirates. This is happening in HASRES, HIGH RES, and all the way down to low res.

Did something change or is it broken? There's literally zero reason to be in the same mission working together with a friend. In fact, it hurts you because if they kill a target that you didn't get shots on then you lose the target completely and you never get credit, so it will take longer to complete a mission if you have fun with a friend.

This is how I understand wing combat:

You both have to hit the same target to both claim the bounty, always has been this way.
In a shared wing mission, you can both kill different mission targets. All targets destroyed add onto the wing mission. If however, you are both shooting different targets, you won't both receive the bounty claims... see above.

If you both have wing missions, don't share them immediately. For example, you both have a wing mission to destroy 30 pirates each. Keep the missions to yourselves. Both of you attack and destroy the same pirates. You both end up with the bounty claim and 1 kill added to each mission. If you do it this way, you only need to destroy 30 pirates. If you had shared the missions, you would need to destroy 60 pirates. Head back to the station, share the mission before completion. Share the rewards!

Last week, and after confirming it was working after coming back from about a year break, if we were sharing a mission yes, only one would get the bounty however each of us would get credit on the mission for kills. So in the example that we both have a mission to kill 30 pirates and we share the missions between each other, we should have only needed 30 kills to complete both missions because the highest mission was to kill 30 and both were shared. Now, if we both shoot the same target, this works however if I say, go on the other side of the belt and kill what spawns over there and my friend stays on his side and kills his side or if we team up when the mobs start to pour in and attack us, unless we both tag each other's targets we don't get mission credit. I don't care about the bounty but why would anyone share a mission after this change or even go to the same RES site, mission target or mission signal? This changed after the servers went down on Wednesday night (central time in the USA so it's Wed night / Thursday 2am technically) Before we would both get credit, we checked this extensively, I shared a mission with him, he shared one with me and one of us would NOT kill / shoot anything and we'd both get credit for the kills needed to complete the mission. After we got on this weekend to team up in a HASRES and some other areas we noticed that I wasn't getting credit. We've then tested in every way possible, we've broken the wing IDK how many times, we've rebooted several times, we've used fighters, no fighters, the only way we both get credit for our mission kills is if we're extremely careful and make sure that both of us tag each target. We let this go on for a few hours but even in a HASRES site, you start to run out of stuff to kill and we were down to imp eagles and such so they were dying faster than the other could get a tag on it and then we were just like f-it.

Because there's no patch notes that I can find, I can't tell what was changed on this week's patch but I'm 99.9% sure they messed with the mission stacking / sharing mechanic in this game for combat. Why the hell would they do this? I've brought several new ppl into this game by sharing kill missions and getting them into the combat then they fall in love with the game and then do the rest of the stuff. But now, there's just a frustrating experience.

I'd love patch notes and I'd love an explanation as to what happened.
