wing squad

Are there already any Infos about this system? How will it work and when will it be implemented?

Until its implemented, this is just a DRM singleplayer with pvp game

And when its there i would really like:

-Formation flight: when everybody from the wing squad are put together in SC and a wing leader flies them around, so they dont scatter around.

-Supplement: that you can exchange ammo and other materials like fuel with your wingmen, so one can even act as a "support" to supply others, making roles possible in a effective way.

-Mission sharing: making harder missions available for maxed out players and easier start for Beginners as they can team up and take on harder tasks (stuff like 4 default SW against an anaconda would sill be out-of-reach though)

-Rewarding system: that would require a deeper player trading system, as you shouldnt be able to give other players creds just like this. It would allow trading runs with strangers as your bodyguards or you guarding a hauler for Dangerous routes with high hostility. And makes RP a huge fun!

And for this, i hope guilds/groups/cooperations or Whatever theyre called a thing for the next step! And then capital ships, planetary landing and FU FU FUN!
 
Formation flight like you say is already out, the designers have a hatred of autopilot. However they want to add systems to make it easier to join your friends when they drop into normal space.

Giving credits SHOULD be in the game with only minor limitations. The fears that some people have are unfounded. Worst case scenario some crappy pilot gives someone a load of real money so he can have a python. OH NO. Whatever shall we do, a bad player in a python.

Mission sharing: very yes.

Supplement: Yes + players should be able to install a repair arm to a medium and large hardpoints to help out people drifting in space with no drives.

Additionally you should be able to hyperspace "piggy back" with bigger ships. Ship ferry becomes a valid role.

thats too bad to hear :/ but whatever! we will find a way! maybe they do the speed boost relative to the others from the squad to prevent mates flying by eachother at joking speed differences XD

yeah, I even thought of a fixed amount per system, calculated from the hostility and interference statistics of it, so no "one system jump for 1M creds" but reasonable numbers

thats cool! would be even cooler if we could dock smaller fighters or freighters in carriers or capitals! (in a far development future, that is)
