This is my first sandbox zoo. It has a modern style, set in a tropical terrain. AT the moment I've built the entrance, a food plaza, staff area for the front of the park, and 3 habitats: Flamingos, Tapirs and Warthogs. So far I've put in around 150 hours into the zoo.

Here's how it's looking so far, I'll start with the entrance building:

As you take the right hand path from the main entrance it brings you out onto the main path, flamingos on the right and the food plaza on the left, with the tapirs running alongside of the food plaza and the modern steps in the distance.

Thanks, it takes me a long time to do anything as I'm a bit of a perfectionist. It's getting there slowly though! That entrance building has about 1500 pieces of wood in it and if I add anything to that building anymore it takes about 20 seconds to place anything on it It's also not symmetrical so each side had to be built separately.

Taking the right hand side path infront of the modern steps takes you to the back of the flamingos where there is another viewing area and also to the warthogs:

On the right is the viewing window for the flmaingos and at the back is the keeper building for the warthogs.

The warthog enclosure has various viewing points including a raised area above a cave that has a viewing window with 1 sided glass to see them sleeping, theres also viewing points from the left of the keeper building.

There's a drink shop just infront of the warthogs with seating, and access view steps and a path up to the upper level which hasn't been worked on yet.

Thanks, it takes me a long time to come up with inspiration for the zoo so it's slow progress! Pleased people like it so far.

Next is the tapir enclosure, below is the keeper entrance:

Water runs from a jet system in the house into a small paddling pond for the tapirs:

A shelter for some shade at the back of the enclosure plus a viewing bridge for the public:

A small hut big enough for two tapirs with viewing window for the public.

Back towards the entrance and towards the other side is the staff complex...(very far right of this photo)

Here is a large staff room, research lab and trade centre, plus a refrigeration unit and maintenance shed.

It's been a while but it takes me weeks to do anything in the game. Anyway here's the latest progress:

Formosan Bear Enclosure:

Next I started to re-do the river that runs through the whole zoo which I'd put down at the start as a placeholder. This area has a large reptile house that has 8-10 exhibits and gharials and nile monitors in a shared enclosure - THIS IS STILL WORK IN PROGRESS....

The roof of this building took me days to actually get right and a lot of head scratching about how to get a continuous smooth looking curve. Never attempting something like that again but so happy with how it came out. The main front entrance leads to an inside view point as you can see below where the nile monitors and gharials are, then the back entrance of the building leads to the exhibits. There's also a promenade with shops down both sides although this still needs completing.

Here is the exhibit side of the building, thanks to various people on the steam workshop for the custom info boards.

the stairs lead to an upper level which I haven't started on yet but this will have a viewing platform looking down into the gharial habitat.

Thanks, appreciate it any feedback is always helpful too, or any suggestions! Working on finishing that latest area off then not sure what animals to add next.
