Funny, I searched for Wings and nothing came up. Ah well, think of this as a reminderPosted about this on a few threads around here. This is the second time they try to get this made through a Kickstarter and I really hope they make it this time!
It was a classic back in the day. That and, It came from the Desert - and Rocket Ranger.

I downloaded the demo they offered up on their kickstarter page. I have to say I was really disappointed. I know it was only a demo but I think its a bit cheeky of them to be trying to fleece peoples memory of some classic games in this fashion.
Wings was an awesome game back in the day. I remember playing it on the Amiga and I loved it - but times have moved on. I keep seeing stuff like this come up on kickstarter and its just shocking how these people are trying to make a quick buck by remaking an older title.
Potentially a modern day Wings, Rocket Ranger, or It Came from the Desert could be truly epic - but from what I have seen I just despair.

I liked the simple gameplay of Wings, so I'm happy with an upgraded version of the game.
