Real World Theme Parks Winterfest - Cedar Fair's stab at a holiday event

Not sure if this really fits here as nobody's really done trip reports here but wanted to share what we have going on in my area with Cedar Fair's and the creative team at California's Great America's take on a holiday event, WinterFest (which will essentially compete with Six Flags and their Holiday in the Park event in my area).

California's Great America is the pilot park for this event in which we know King's Island will be getting WinterFest next year.

Here's my experience (totally unbiased as much as I work there) as a guest. Not sure if there's any other locals in the San Francisco Bay Area on here, I know there's a pretty broad fanbase.

I work at Carowinds. To be very honest with you, I can't wait for us to have this event. It means I'll be working 9 months out of a year there. I live on the campsite while working there and I love it so much. But right now we're closed and I'm back home in Virginia until May when I graduate college. Then I'll be back in Charlotte, hopefully, year-round.
