Cycle summary:
First, the good news. We took Robor, which gives a decent profit at maximum overheads, but our starting balance dropped to -254 because the overheads curve is not kind at this point. Our other expansions failed. Hudson took Polecteri, well done by our friends over at FRC! Aisling prepped a weapon against Grom, Grom prepped a weapon against Hudson, Hudson prepped weapons against both of them, and we prepped a weapon against ALD (Baal). We also have a pair of good expansions at 36 Doradus and Asetsi.
Now I am forced to report some bad news; last cycle an outside group took control of Winters' prep list and prepared the terrible loss-making system of Chingaa to the tune of over 160,000 merits. While we are proud haulers, this was too much for us to overcome while also accomplishing our planned goals for the week. With a heavy heart I must ask for anyone reading this who is outside the Federation to oppose this expansion with full force. Regardless of allegiance, all true Powerplayers despise fifth columnists who seek to destroy a power from within. We have spoken to the individuals responsible for this; ironically they consider themselves to be dedicated Winters pilots. In truth, this expansion would undo much of our work of the past year in order to satisfy the vanity of a few individuals who have duped their squadron into attacking the very power they claim to love. I will not dignify them by including their names here. What is truly important now is for Powerplayers of all stripes to come together and defeat them. If you are able, please undermine our expansion at Chingaa to the fullest extent possible.

Update 9 is out, and there's already a bug report that needs your confirmation and/or upvote! While it requires further testing, initial reports indicate that nothing has changed with plasma accelerator thermal conduit damage, so PvPers can breathe a sigh of relief.
