Powerplay Faction: Felicia Winters Winters Fort 101

Fortification is performed by taking Federal Aid from our Headquarters, Rhea, to our Control Systems.

In Winter, we have 30 good, profitable systems that we want to fully Fortify every cycle. If we get all of these Fortifed, then Turmoil can only help us. If these systems are Fortified, and we enter Turmoil, we can only lose bad (loss-making) systems.

Also, always be sure to do the 1t test. It is unnecessary, and wasteful to Fortify past the Fortification Trigger. The Galaxy Map data isn't always up to date, so if you're delivering Fortification, drop 1t first, check the updated Fortification status, then drop the rest of your haul, if it's needed. Please begin with the first 14 systems listed, check to see if they're Fortified, then move down the list.

We have also developed a full-on Fortification Program that prioritizes our Fortification for us. This can be found linked here. The program is best used towards the end of the cycle, as it relies on a few dedicated players to input the data, however, basic prioritization can be noted throughout the Cycle. If you have any questions about the Fort Program, feel free to ask!

If we have some members who are on regularly could we look at assigning each player a system to fortify? I'm not sure how people would feel about it but it might enhance their involvement and immersion (I know that words over used sorry haha).

Problems could arise if people are unable to fortify "their" system due to real life obligations, as others in the group might bother them about not holding up their responsibilities. Fortifying is a group effort; having a good list like this is a fantastic start. I recommend checking your destination system before you leave Rhea to make sure it isn't finished, and dropping only one ton when you arrive so that you get an up to date number before dropping the rest of your load. The system screen doesn't update immediately, so it's possible the system could be finished, but the screen you see when you drop one ton will give you an accurate number.

If you're doing last-minute fortifying it's probably best to jump on the TeamSpeak (you can find the link on the Reddit) to get in touch with others who are doing the same.

(edit: I failed to closely read the OP and see now that he also mentioned the 1T test. I'll leave my stupidity here for posterity.)
