I bought the gold viper skin.

Heres how it looks on the launcher:

Its a bit meh. Wouldn't call it gold.

well I hope it is the lighting, but the outfitting screen is the only external view of the ship in the game. Would be nice for it to look as advertised there.

Hmm, that's the phrase, 'as advertised'.

You know they used a fresh off the line Viper for that photo, stuck in under arc lights and covered it in olive oil. Maybe a little bit of photo shop as well. It wouldn't surprise me if it's just the shell of a Viper on a Sidewinder.
