Wish I could see the numbers behind background simulation

...so I can help it achieve it's goals. Right now we don't know exact numbers and historical values for development level, wealth, standard of living, security and thresholds behind them, which drive individual economies on day to day basis. Therefore, we can't really affect them consistently & efficiently. Sure, I can choose to "exploit" the system by joining a group, so we can quickly tilt it to our liking. But, if I choose to promote economic boom or any other "state", and the background sim. is currently working against me, I (alone) will probably end up exactly where I started. This is hardly entertaining. I'd like to be able to be an opportunist. Fly by a system on the verge of economic boom? Sure, I stop by for a day or two, help them achieve it. Maybe the luxury zones will spawn? Stop by the station, look at the charts of historical values (that is provided I am their ally), see that the boom is imminent with just 10-20 missions of some sort, so, I make sure it happens ASAP. Or maybe the opposite? Who knows.. Become one with an invisible army, so to speak. And no, I don't propose to change the speed of how everything happens right now in background sim. department, I just want to see the actual simulation more clearly and, possibly, in retrospect..

Do you guys think that would be appropriate for Elite?
