Wishlist for future content updates

Just a few things that I think would make the combat side of this game a bit more interesting. Feel free to add to it or flame the hell out of it. Thanks.


Rare Loot


I don't know about you but a little RNG always makes a game more interesting to me. I think it would be nice if on occasion after killing a pirate that you come across some of his ships modules. They could be something like a jerry rigged pulse laser that has really good damage but maybe is a little unstable or has some kind of drawback that would make it interesting to use and balanced against the normal purchased modules.

Scripted events/more interesting missions

I hear about the wars going on but I haven't really seen anything. Maybe I just don't know what to look for and if this stuff is in the game then I apologize. I think you could make great use of the USS's with this. For example, you could be in a station and all of sudden an alert goes out, there's an Imperial fleet in such and such system and the Federation is preparing to battle them. You answer the call to battle and fly out to that system and head to USS or Nav Beacon and find two massive fleets facing off with each other and join in the fight or maybe the Empire has identified where a faction of pirates is based and you're sent out on a coop mission with other players to destroy the pirate outpost.

Taking over Anarchy systems

Players could work with the main factions to flip an anarchy system over to Fed, Empire or Alliance. This would be a huge undertaking involving the NPC capital ships. System blockades, laying siege to the major outposts and destroying all opposition could all be a part of this. Also any original anarchy system could always be able to be taken over which could lead to some huge fights between players on each faction vying for control of the system. I think something like this would need to be a big and somewhat rare event. I don't know that a lot of people would want constant war in these systems. It could make use of influence, so before the Empire could lay siege to the system, you would need players actually using and increasing the influence in that system to certain point before it could be initiated.​
