Looks like Frontier isn't the only developer to downgrade graphics with an update...

Q4 update will include lighting improvements. I bet they will implement HDR then.

Looks like Frontier isn't the only developer to downgrade graphics with an update...

I much prefer HDR presentation of 1.61 over 1.50. The pop in is hardly noticeable to me. DF are making a way, way big deal about it and picking the worst possible examples in that video. I actually tried looking for this pop-in last night in normal play, couldn't really notice it. HDR does look gorgeous however! So for once I totally disagree with DF on this one.

4K with HDR looks way better to me than 4K SDR. So its a sacrifice I am willing to accept, its still a gorgeous game on the Pro. Its not put me off the Witcher and I still play it a lot!

Well at least with W3 you get a graphical improvement to offset the downgrade. ED is not what I would call "gorgeous" on PS4 Slim these days, especially since shaders in general are now .
