With new patch, what is a reasonable mining / RES combat ship - $30m

WIth the new patch around the corner, I think I'd like to try some mining in a ship that also can be equipped to defend itself in high risk Resource Extraction Sites.

So, with that in mind and considering that I have an asp and account worth about $35m in total...

any advice/thoughts on ship and buildout?

Won't I need a large cargo bay to fit the mined "stuff?"

Asp. Got 6 hard points, plenty of internal slots.

I've been testing out the Asp as a mining vessel. It has plenty of hard points to mine and defend against pirates. It has plenty of equipment bays to have all the goodies you need to mine. It also has enough cargo space to make a decent haul back to the market.
