Curious, has there been any clarification of wether or not your avatar name will appear alongside your xbox gamer tag in game or is it still gamertag as ID only no exceptions, all hail the mighty Microsoft.

There's no separate commander names. Your gamertag is your commander name.
Ship names are coming though, so when you target someone you can see what their ships name is, what ship it is, and who's piloting it (ie Gamertag)

Thanks... it would be good to see something peronal and relevant to your in game RPC without having to pay 15 quid
